We present three key concepts from Arde Gallery’s ABC. First, Quince, located on Cuna de Allende, offers a vibrant experience in San Miguel de Allende, from casual meals to DJ nights. Next, QUINQUÉ, a contemporary reinterpretation by & Jacob, blends the historical essence of the quinqué with a modern aesthetic. Finally, Quietude, as part of our art alphabet, represents calm and serenity, inviting introspection and reflection through various techniques and elements.

The letter “P” in the ARDE alphabet refers to the polyptych, a work of art composed of multiple panels that narrate a story or represent a common theme, allowing artists to explore complex and varied narratives. It also refers to Juárez Park, a green space in the heart of San Miguel de Allende that offers a peaceful environment to enjoy the city’s natural and cultural beauty. Finally, it mentions Prince Láuder, a self-taught artist who uses collage to create metanarratives, merging techniques and materials to offer new interpretations and meanings in his work.

The letter “O” in the ARDE alphabet refers to an art object, a tangible creation that communicates ideas and emotions through its form and materiality; to oil paint, the quintessential pigment material for painting; and to Omar Torres, a photographer who creates scenes of resistance and tolerance, capturing the balance and transparency of human emotions in his photography.

The letter N in our ABC represents innovation, elegance, and creativity—core elements of our artistic vision. N leads us to Nomade Atelier, a studio renowned for seamlessly blending elegance and functionality in every creation. Here, high-quality materials unite with local craftsmanship to produce unique, sophisticated pieces. N also stands for Nocte, a lamp whose subtle glow transforms the walls of Arde Gallery, creating immersive atmospheres that elevate each space’s essence. The letter M in our Arde Alphabet highlights concepts that capture the essence of movement and sophistication in art and design. From Movement, which infuses life and energy into artworks, to MUUCH , the innovative piece by designer Raúl de la Cerda, and Matilda, the hotel that combines luxury with an impressive collection of contemporary art. Each of these elements contributes to an enriching cultural and aesthetic experience.

Light, Live Aqua, and the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel are the representatives of the letter L in the Arde Alphabet. Light, as a fundamental element in art, shapes and adds depth to works. Kiosko, Ki’Bok, and Kaleidoscope are the representatives of the letter K in the Arde Alphabet. The kiosk in San Miguel de Allende, with its stunning colonial design, serves as the ideal landmark in the central plaza. The letter J is represented by an artist, a designer and a vital space for San Miguel de Allende. The unifying theme is the diversity of ideas, materials and species that harmonize and embellish the imprint of each one of them. 

Iker Ortiz, Mexico’s most original jeweler; the installation, one of the most dazzling resources of contemporary art and Ignancio Allende, the character who inherited his name to San Miguel de Allende are the representatives of the letter I of the Arde’s ABC.
