Galería Mexicana de Diseño

With the aim of creating a company dedicated to promoting and promoting design in our country, the Mexican Design Gallery (GMD) was founded in 1990 on the initiative of Carmen Cordera Lascurain. Since its foundation it has sought to facilitate the relationship between users and designers, as well as to publicize innovative and relevant objects in the local and international design panorama. Our project links all areas of design: handmade, textile, jewelry, environmental, graphic, industrial and interiors: becoming a central meeting point of design in Mexico.

Since its foundation, the GMD has presented more than 750 national and international designers, with 14 countries invited throughout more than 150 exhibitions and we have introduced more than 85 design brands to the national market: promoting the work of designers and putting their work in contact with the public.
