Egresado de la Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado \u201cLa Esmeralda\u201d (ENPEG) del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA) y con maestr\u00eda de Bellas Artes por el Goldsmiths College de la Universidad de Londres, becado por el Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte Fonca (2010-2013), por el Apoyo de publicaciones de la Fundaci\u00f3n Bancomer BBVA, por la beca Skowhegan School of Painting, Maine, EUA (2007); y la Fundaci\u00f3n Pollock Krasner de Nueva York (2007). Es distinguido por haber recibido m\u00faltiples reconocimientos nacionales e internacionales, tales como el premio de Pintura Centenario Feria Zona MACO, premio especial de Arte Laguna Arsenal de Venecia, Italia y el primer premio de la Bienal Miradas de Tijuana.

Su obra ha sido expuesta tanto en galer\u00edas como en museos cruzando fronteras continentales a lo largo de Am\u00e9rica y Europa en exhibiciones tales como: Galer\u00eda Archivo Colectivo, CDMX (2020); ICM, Berl\u00edn, Alemania (2019); Escuela de la paz, CDMX (2019); Zona Maco Sur, Rofa Projects, CDMX (2018); Hamiltonian Gallery, Washington, DC (2015); Post Box Gallery, Londres, UK (2013); Galer\u00eda Arr\u00f3niz Arte Contempor\u00e1neo, CDMX (2013); Museo Nacional de Arte (MUNAL) CDMX (2012) entre otras.
