Ernesto Walker

His work is characterized by the exploration of chance and abstraction, seeking to build bridges between the accidental and the significant. His academic training is in the area of social sciences, with a degree in International Relations from Tec de Monterrey (2006).
So far, he has 17 solo and multiple group exhibitions, including international exhibitions in London, Brussels, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Argentina, Greece, Spain, Italy, Colombia, Holland, Chile and the United States. His pieces are part of collections in Italy, England, the United States, Canada, Argentina and Mexico.

Among other distinctions, he is the 1st place winner of the Saatchi Gallery Drawing Showdown (London 2011), of the triennial scholarship of the National System of Creators of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (2018), and of the 1st edition of the Nuevo León State Arts Award granted by CONARTE in 2018. Since 2011 he has been part of the School of Architecture, Art and Design of the Tecnológico de Monterrey as a teacher.
