Alejandro Pintado

Graduated from the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda” (ENPEG) of the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA) and with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Goldsmiths College of the University of London, scholarship from the National System of Creators of Fonca Art (2010-2013), for the Support of publications of the Bancomer BBVA Foundation, for the Skowhegan School of Painting Scholarship, Maine, USA (2007); and the Pollock Krasner Foundation in New York (2007). He is distinguished for having received multiple national and international recognitions, such as the Centennial Painting Prize Feria Zona MACO, special prize of Art Laguna Arsenal of Venice, Italy and the first prize of the Bienal Miradas de Tijuana.

His work has been exhibited both in galleries and museums crossing continental borders throughout America and Europe in exhibitions such as: Galería Archivo Colectivo, CDMX (2020); BWI, Berlin, Germany (2019); School of Peace, CDMX (2019); Zona Maco Sur, Rofa Projects, CDMX (2018); Hamiltonian Gallery, Washington, DC (2015); Post Box Gallery, London, UK (2013); Arróniz Contemporary Art Gallery, CDMX (2013); National Museum of Art (MUNAL) CDMX (2012), among others.
